Students really get a feel of the land with these durable, hands-on models. Four land type models-folded mountains, fault mountains, volcanism, and mountain glaciation-allow all students to learn how the Earth's internal forces affect the surface shape and features. Students easily follow a grid system to locate surface and subsurface features on the models. White, plastic write-on/wipe-off models allow students to mark natural features such as rivers, streams, valleys, rock types, and cross sections as well as man-made features including cities, railroads, and mines. Each piece is 5" square. Ten sets of the four landform models are provided.
