UV Intensity Meter and Lens Tester

Use this pocket-sized UV intensity meter to demonstrate UV principles quickly and easily. Simply expose the card to UV light for 20 seconds and the color strip will turn color in response to the intensity of the UV light. Rating of the intensity is revealed on the card as low, medium, or high and is correlated to SPF ratings from 15 to 40+. Use the card to determine if sunscreens work as advertised! Test the sun-blocking effectiveness of your sunglasses with the separate Lens Testing Strip on the card. This card can be used as a personal safety device or as an experimental tool.
