Product Details

Many laboratory procedures have been designed to detect the presence of antibodies and the interactions between antigens and antibodies. One such test, ELISA—Enzyme linked immunosorbent assay—has received popular notice recently due to its use in detecting AIDS-infected individuals. In this simulation of the ELISA test procedure, students identify infected individuals while learning the principles involved in the ELISA test procedure.

Complete for 30 students working in pairs. No human blood or blood products are used in this experiment.
