Rewiring the Brain - Super Value Kit

Can pain and other sensations be felt by a body part even when it is missing? In this activity, students perform hands-on experiments that demonstrate the brain's remarkable ability to “rewire” itself. In the first activity, students will feel like their noses are two feet long. When students are shown a picture of a hand being touched, they will sense their own hand moving and being touched. An excellent activity to show the amazing power of the human body! Demonstrate that awareness of the body is a learned sensory experience with this memorable activity.
