All of the microscope features need for advanced microscopy work-bright halogen illumination, parfocal, parcentered objectives including 100X oil immersion, graduated mechanical stage, Abbe condenser, and separate coarse- and fine-focus knobs. Connect the USB 2.0 cable to a computer preloaded with the software provided with the microscope, calibrate the instrument with the included calibration slide, and you're ready to capture great images. Software allows you to obtain single images or video and then add music or narrative to the file to enhance the presentation. The software contains filters to sharpen, smooth, emboss or mosaic each image. Adjust the picture's brightness, color, and contrast, or rotate and invert images as desired. The Distant Image Sharing™ feature of the Motic Images Plus™ software allows images to be shared online with real-time discussions!
