Product Details

Give students a challenge, and they will eagerly compete to meet or beat the goal! Promote inquiry with the classic iodine clock reaction. Students record reaction times for three concentrations of potassium iodate, then analyze and graph the results to predict the concentration needed to make the clock “ring” in exactly 25 seconds. After several trial runs to refine their graphs and test their predictions, students are ready for their final test, against the clock! Complete for 30 students working in groups of three.
