Durable spectrophotometer automatically performs a zero %T measurement at start-up, and features a one-button 100%T measurement. Unit offers fast, full-wavelength scanning capability and takes measurements every two seconds. Features a rubber keypad that forms a seal with the top cover to prevent spills from entering the instrument and a wavelength knob that is clearly marked to avoid confusion. Internal sample compartment easily lifts out for convenient cleaning. Removable cuvet racks are designed to hold six square or test-tube cuvets.
Adjustable tilt screen with pre-loaded software displays a live color spectrum indicator allowing students to measure wavelength, scan a full spectrum or defined range, see precise absorbance values, measure multiple wavelengths simultaneously, and make a Beer’s Law plot and calibration curve. Connect to a remote computer through a USB-B connection or use a USB-A for a printer or USB memory device. Includes 10 plastic 1/2” cuvets, and 2 cuvet racks.
