Animal Cell Model
Twelve key structures of an animal cell are illustrated with this large, colorful, cross- sectional model. The protective transparent cover can be removed for easy viewing of the inside of the cell while still maintaining the three-dimensional focus of a real thing. Teaching strategies are included as well as a key to the numbered structures on the model. When not in use, this large, colorful model makes an excellent addition to your classroom display case.
DNA Model
This three-foot-long strand of DNA demon- strates its twisted ladder-like arrangement. The ease of twisting and untwisting this large molecule will help students visual-
ize the 3-dimensional structure of DNA. The brightly colored base pairs and dark contrasting deoxyribose sugars and phos- phates in the rungs of the ladder make
the model visible during demonstrations. Carefully handmade using rugged flexi-
ble vinyl and hard wooden dowels. When completely coiled, the model measures less than a foot in length for easy storage.
