Exploring the Compound Microscope—Student Laboratory Kit
In this four-part activity, students perform a basic focusing procedure with prepared cork slides, create a wetmount slide using newsprint, estimate and compare crystal size using ruled microscope slides and perform a more challenging protozoa identification using depression slides.
