  Height of Chemical Storage
A good general rule is that chemicals should not be stored above eye level. This rule will eliminate the need for ladders, stools and other potentially unsafe devices in the chemical storeroom. Get those large, oversize bottles always found on your top shelves situated more safely. Look at the chemicals on the top shelf. If these materials have not been used in the recent past and won’t be needed in the near future, then dispose of them now!
