Flinn/SciMatCo® Acid Cabinets
Acid attacks ALL metal cabinets. Wooden acid cabinets are safer and more durable than metal cabinets. All wood construction eliminates corrosion and guarantees years of safe acid storage.
All polypropylene, 0.125" thick.
Top recessed to include a liquid- tight polypropylene tray. Tray will hold 12 liters of spilled liquid. Use this top tray as a dispensing area.
Optional polypropylene nitric acid compartment available.
Entirely constructed of 1"-thick high-density exterior-grade 9-ply plywood and finished with Super Chem- TuffTM paint.
One fixed-position shelf included. Large 2.5-liter acid bottles can fit on both top and bottom shelves.
Interlocking wooden door assembly.

We have never understood why anyone would make and sell a metal (even stainless steel) cabinet for the storage of corro- sives that will soon destroy the metal. NITRIC ACID WILL ATTACK ALL METALS. A coat of paint will protect the metal until the first scratch. Then even a tiny scratch starts the process of metal destruction.
The same is true for metals used as part of the construction of a non-metal cabinet (e.g., hardware, handles, shelf supports and hinges). Even some metal will be troublesome. Flinn/ SciMatCo® acid cabinets contain NO METAL!
