Lab Bench Coating
A paint-like polyurethane plastic coating that provides a low- maintenance, tough, protective finish for laboratory bench surfaces. Easy to apply. The one-quart can will cover approximately 160 square feet with one coat. Two coats should be applied. This is a clear plastic coating and will not impart color to the bench top. Polyurethane has excellent gloss, flexibility and resistance to abrasion, impact, acids and bases. Will be attacked by aromatic and chlorinated solvents.
Lab Bench Refinishing Products
All the materials you need to refinish your lab tabletop. The primer is a black semi-gloss paint. The finishing coat is a clear Aqua Epoxy Finish paint. The two-part epoxy paint must always be pre-mixed before use, which provides 1 liter of product that generally has a shelf life of two hours. Aqua Epoxy is easy to apply and dries rapidly to a smooth semi- gloss finish. It is chemically resistant to acids and organic solvents and does not easily scratch, increasing durability of the lab table.
Smooth-On Epoxy Adhesive
Easily join, bond and caulk sections of epoxy resin laboratory tops and counters using this two-part epoxy cement! Simply mix parts A and B in equal portions and stir thoroughly for five minutes before applying. The mixture has a working life of 20 minutes, sets in 1–2 hours, and cures in 24 hours. Once cured, the substance can be sanded to blend with surface if needed. Package contains one pint each of parts A and B. Final color is black.
Lab Bench Repair Resin
Cracks, chips, scratches and students’ initials can be repaired using this remarkable repair resin kit. This two-component material is easy to mix and apply. It will dry in 24 hours and harden so well that your original surface is restored. This resin will bond to artificial and natural stone, wood, and other synthetic lab bench materials. The color of the mixed resin is black.
