Orbital Shaker Platform, SpindriveTM
Convert your magnetic stirrer into a rugged orbital shaker. This platform is an economical alternative to the high-cost conventional models. The platform sits safely on the magnetic stirrer top. The magnetic stir- rer setting controls the orbital speed. Non-skid surface firmly holds samples up to 6.8 kg (15 lb). Rotating orbit diameter is 21.7 mm (7⁄8"). Platform requires minimum stirrer top plate of 6" x 6".

Magnetic Stirring Bar
PTFE stirring bars molded around Alnico-V magnets. Extra strong, white in color. Can be used with temperatures up to 250 °C. Resistant to common chemicals in teaching laboratories.
Magnetic Stirring Bar, with Molded-on Pivot Ring
The octagonal shape of these magnetic stirring bars provides greater surface area and added turbulence compared to smooth cylindrical stir- ring bars. The molded-on pivot ring aids in reducing friction, chattering and the marring of plastic containers. Stirring bars consist of an Alnico-V magnet encapsulated in a PTFE coating, which provides excellent chemical resistance. Store in pairs to maintain magnetic strength. Six sizes available. Six-piece assortment includes two each of 1" x 5⁄16", 11⁄2" x 5⁄16" and 2" x 5⁄16" sizes.
Disposable Magnetic Stirring Bars
Polygonal magnetic stirring bars are PTFE molded
around Alnico magnets. Ideal for single-use applica-
tions with radioactive reagents or for preventing cross-contamination. 13⁄5" x 5⁄16". Package of 100.
Magnetic Stirring Bar Retriever
Ideal for retrieving magnetic stirring bars. The entire retriever is totally encased in chemical-resistant polypropylene. The retriever can be hung out of the way when not in use. Overall length: 12".
