Test Papers—pH, continued
Hydrion One-Drop pH Indicator Kit
The indicator solution method provides the simplest and most conve- nient method of pH estimation—simply add a few drops of this concentrated indicator solution to the desired solution, compare with the provided color chart, and you have a pH reading! The indicator color changes are vivid—from deep red in acid solutions through green in neutral solutions to blue violet in basic solutions. The indicator will indicate pH values from 1 to 11 with a different color for each pH unit. Kit includes one sample tube with cap, 24-mL bottle of indicator solu- tion and laminated color chart, packaged in a sturdy plastic case.
Universal Indicator Color Charts
Available two ways. Use the overhead transparency
whenever your students are using Flinn universal
indicator to determine the pH of a solution. The color of each pH is clearly displayed on the overhead projector and can be seen across the laboratory. The chart displays the colors and pH values of each pH unit from 4 to 10. 81⁄2" x 11".
Smaller charts are available as 23⁄4" x 31⁄2" cards to place at each lab station or hand out to students for their notebooks. 23⁄4" x 31⁄2" charts are sold as a package of 30.
