Visitor’s Glasses
Provide necessary protection for the visitors in your laboratory. Clear glasses have wrap-around side shields for temporary protection, can easily be worn over glasses, and have an anti-glare brow guard. Meets ANSI Z87+ standards; however, these should not be considered full chemical splash goggles.
Visitor’s Wraparound Safety Glasses
All visitors who enter your lab when experiments or demonstrations are in progress should wear eye protection. Demonstrate your commitment to safety by keeping these wraparound, aviator-style safety glasses at the ready for staff members, administrators, and other visitors to your lab. Ultra-light, clear polycarbonate lenses are impact-resistant and provide UV protection. Glasses meet ANSI Z87+ standards but should not be considered full chemical splash goggles. Sleek design—these glasses will not fit over regular prescription glasses.

Using a goggle sanitizer allows several classes of students to safely share goggles. Five-minute exposure of UV light will kill over 99.5% of all bacteria present.
Safety and ease of use were the primary considerations in the new Flinn goggle sanitizer design. A keyed lock allows the doors to be secured during sterilization. Safety door switches automatically shut off the UV light source if a door is accidentally opened. The light viewing screen confirms UV light is being generated.
Digital models available. Constructed of 24-gauge steel with a white baked enamel finish; comes fully assembled. A heavy-duty 8' (96") neoprene cord is provided. Can be shipped UPS. Goggles not included. See pages 261–263.
Dimensions: Large: 281⁄2" H x 261⁄4" W x 101⁄4" D; holds 36 goggles. Small: 281⁄2" H x 19" W x 101⁄4" D; holds 24 goggles.

Goggle Sanitizer
If a goggle sanitizer is not practical due to budget constraints, consider using Lysol® solution to sanitize goggles. Lysol is found on page 66. Add just 11⁄4 ounces of Lysol to one gallon of soft water. Dip the goggles in the Lysol solution for sanitizing, rinse and let air dry. If you use soft water (distilled or deionized water is soft), you should not have a lot of water spots. Do not use this procedure with fog-free lens goggles.
