Hofmann Type Clamp
Open jaw, nickel-plated clamp for rubber tubing. Designed for use with tubing up to 1⁄2" in diameter.
Day Pinchcock Clamp
Convenient and durable. Made of sturdy spring steel. Length 25⁄8" for rubber tubing up to 3⁄8".
Mohr Pinchcock Clamp
Heavy, nickel-plated brass providing a flat clamping surface on tubing. Accepts tubing up to 1⁄2" outside diameter.
Clay, Modeling
There are many uses for modeling clay, including modeling cells and organelles, modeling anatomical structures, and simulating chromo- some action in cell division. This non-toxic, oil-based clay is formulated to remain soft and workable indefinitely. Package includes one pound each of five assorted colors—typically red, blue, green, yellow, and terra-cotta. Five pounds total.
Cleaners
Cleaner, Flinn-ItTM
Excellent for cleaning charred carbon residue from
crucibles and evaporating dishes. Flinn-ItTM is placed
on the soiled ware and the ware is allowed to soak in
the cleaner. If this cleaner does not remove the stubborn deposit, it is not likely to be removable.
Flinn-ItTM is a very strong base. Gloves, chemical splash goggles and apron should be worn.
