 Conductivity Meters
  Flinn Conductivity Meter
This conductivity meter uses green and red light
emitting diodes (LED) to quantitatively measure
the conductivity of a solution. Immersing the electrodes into a weakly electrolytic solution results in a dim glowing of the red LED. A strong electrolyte solution will cause both the red and green LEDs to glow. The scale below (affixed to the meter) can be used to measure and compare the solution conductivity. The meter is sensitive enough to display low conductivity for 70% alcohol solutions and medium conductivity for tap water. A safe meter—no electric shock with only a 9-volt battery. The meter cannot easily be shorted out, since an ON/OFF switch is provided to disconnect the circuit. The electrodes are easily interchanged or replaced.

Conductivity Tester
Simply plug this conductivity tester into a 110-volt outlet and insert it into a series of solutions to visually demonstrate to your students the relative conductivity of the solutions. The lamp shines brightly for strong electrolyte solutions, less brightly for weak electrolyte solutions, and not at all for non-conducting solutions. Safe to use, its electrodes are completely surrounded by nonconducting material and the cord will not come into contact with the test solution. Requires a 15-watt lamp, sold separately. Includes background information and instructions.
Current Indicator
Quickly determine the conductivity of a solution with this low-priced current indicator. A red LED is illuminated if the solution conducts electricity. For use with 24-well reaction plates or combination plates. 9-V battery required, but not included.

SPER Portable Conductivity Pen
Highly stable and accurate readings with a large LCD
display. Simultaneously displays the parameter being
measured and temperature in °C or °F. Features automatic temperature compensation, 2-pt. calibration, auto power-off, hold function and a low-battery indicator. The case is IP65 waterproof and will float if accidentally dropped into the water. Comes with 4 button-cell batteries and a built-in probe with protective cap.
SPER Combined Conductivity, Salinity,
TDS and Temperature Meter
Measure conductivity, salinity, TDS (total dissolved
solids) and temperature all with one unit! The large LCD simultaneously shows conductivity, salinity or TDS in large digits with time, date and temperature (in °C or °F) on the lower display. Scroll 99 data points directly on the LCD with time stamps, min/max and average readings. Also features hold, manual or auto range and automatic temperature compensation.
