Solid, flat ceramic top is chemical resistant and provides good, even heat transfer. Features include a hot surface alert system for protection from accidental burns. Bright red warning lights are displayed when the top surface is above 50 °C. The hot plates are also equipped with a display of temperature settings, adjust- able in 1 °C increments, from 5 °C up to 540 °C. Low-profile
body provides stability and the power cord is detachable. Integral ring stand holder accepts 1⁄2" diameter support rod. Maximum temperature: 540 °C.

Flinn Hot Plates and Magnetic Stirrers
Flinn hot plates and stirrers use state-of-the-art ceramics to provide a bright white top that has excellent chemical resistance, high impact strength, and has an unsurpassed flat surface.
• An electrical input controller provides fine temperature control from ambient temperature to 538 °C
• You can reach a rapid boil in just eight minutes—that's twice as fast as comparable hot plates!
• Heating elements are embedded in the ceramic top so there are no exposed or glowing heat sources, and the square top is isolated from the aluminum base so laboratory bench tops are protected against heat damage.
• Stirrer speed can be adjusted from a slow 200 rpm to a vigorous 2500 rpm.
• Integral ring stand holder accommodates 1⁄2" diameter support rod.
