Flinn hot plates and stirrers use state-of-the-art ceramics to provide a bright white top that has excellent chemical resistance, high impact strength, and has an unsurpassed flat surface.
• An electrical input controller provides fine temperature control from ambient temperature to 538 °C
• You can reach a rapid boil in just eight minutes—that's twice as fast as comparable hot plates!
• Heating elements are embedded in the ceramic top so there are no exposed or glowing heat sources, and the square top is isolated from the aluminum base so labora- tory bench tops are protected against heat damage.
• Stirrer speed can be adjusted from a slow 200 rpm to a vigorous 2500 rpm.
• Integral ring-stand holder accommodates 1⁄2" diameter support rod.

  Solid, flat ceramic top is chemical resistant and provides
good, even heat transfer. Features include a hot surface
alert system for protection from accidental burns. Bright red
warning lights are displayed when the top surface is above
50 °C. The hot plates are also equipped with a display of
temperature settings, adjustable in 1 °C increments, from
5 °C up to 540 °C. Low-profile body provides stability and the
power cord is detachable. Integral ring stand holder accepts
