Skeletal Bingo—Super Value Game
By: The Flinn Staff
Learning the names and locations of the major bones
in the human body is a major challenge for students. Turn this demand- ing material into a fun game—play bingo! Enjoy the fun of traditional bingo while reviewing the structure of bones as well as the names and locations of major bones. Game includes 30 preprinted bingo cards, lots of bingo chips, and “bingo choice sheets” to call out the selections. Nine bone diagrams, 21 bone structures, and 46 proper or common names of bones and descriptions are listed on the bingo choice sheets. Instructor’s Notes with helpful teaching tips are also provided.
Super Value Game is complete for 30 students playing individually. All materials are reusable.

Body Fat Analyzer
Body tissues with high water content conduct electricity better than body fat does. The Body Fat Analyzer uses this principle, called the Bioelectrical Impedance (BI) method, to determine body fat percentage. Instrument simultaneously calculates user’s Body Mass Index (BMI). Keep data confidential by entering information as a guest or save up to nine profiles to track changes over time.
Grip Tester
Your students can test their strength and conduct several interesting experiments with this simple instrument. Students can compare grip strength between right and left hands before and after strength-building exercises. Experiments with fatigue and recovery can be conducted and students can determine how the timed onset of fatigue is related to the amount of force they attempt to maintain. The resistance range of the grip tester is fully adjustable to accommodate students of all ages and abilities.
Muscled Knee Joint
This life-sized, semi-articulating model will help students visualize the knee joint and understand what a torn ligament means. The meniscus, fibular, tibial, anterior and posterior cruciates and patellar ligaments are articulated. The extended femur and patellar ligament is connected to the quadriceps muscle, the primary extensor of the knee joint. This low- cost model is a very good value and much less expensive than similar models. Model size is 29 x 16 x 12 cm.
