Anatomy and Physiology—Muscular and Skeletal Systems Models and Posters, continued
Skeleton, Painted
Identical to the unpainted skeletons, FB0181 and FB0207, except that muscle origins (red) and insertions (blue) have been hand-painted and numbered on the left side for identification. This accurately painted skeleton permits in-depth study of how muscular and skeletal systems work together to enable movement and maintain posture. Available in rod mount or hanging mount.
See free video at flinnsci.com.
Skeleton, Standard
A high-quality skeleton at a budget-pleasing price, perfect for classes in biology, introductory anatomy and physical education. All bones of this full-size adult replica are individually articulated—even the fingers and toes! The mandible is spring-mounted and the calvarium is sectioned permitting study of the neurocranium. Meticulously crafted in high- grade plastic—permitting excellent retention of anatomical detail. Truly a best buy, this affordable skeleton stands 67" (170 cm) tall.
Available in two mounting options. The rod mount skeleton has a rigid rod running from the sacrum to the cranium. The hanging skel- eton is freely suspended from the top of the support stand. Both are on a base with swivel casters.
Skeleton Dust Cover
Protect your skeletons. The tough nylon construction and durable zipper make removal and replacement easy. The zipper runs down the entire front of the bag. The bottom is open to make removal easy. The reinforced slit on the top allows the hanging rod to be replaced for easy hanging on its stand. Virtually dustproof and indestructible. Measures 2 ft. in diameter and 6 ft. long.
Skeleton, Disarticulated
Learn anatomy in a different way with a life-size disarticulated skeleton. Bones are presented separately and each is labelled to correspond with the included learning guide. One hand and foot are wired, while the opposite hand and foot are detached.
X-Rays, Human
Connect textbook diagrams to the real thing with these young-adult- sized X-rays. Hang them in a window, use them for a project, as a teaching tool with a projector or a challenge activity to see which student group can assemble the skeleton correctly. Includes an instruc- tor’s guide with labels. Approximately 5 feet tall.
