Forensic Laboratory Science and Detective Mystery Writing is a 9th-grade, hands-on, integrated science and writing curriculum guar- anteed to excite your students! Students are given nine weeks of hands-on, clue-development experi- ments. Once students have completed their laboratory work, they will collaborate, using the data and techniques recorded in their Student Forensic Laboratory Journals to write their own detective mystery. By first becoming familiar with forensic techniques and clues, students will be able to cleverly weave evidence and other clues into their mysteries.
