The needle rides on a jeweled bearing in a sealed, liquid-filled chamber-assuring lifelong accuracy, fast settling and quick, reliable readings. Capsule and base are distortion-free acrylic-impact and scratch resistant. Dial is graduated in 2-degree increments.
