Conductivity Calibration Kit

Introduction

This conductivity standards kit is designed to be used with the Flinn Scientific/Vernier Software conductivity probe. Two-point calibrations using these standard solutions are important for performing reliable conductivity measurements.

The sodium chloride calibration standards in this kit will last a long time if you take care not to contaminate them. Always rinse your conductivity probe with distilled water and blot it dry with a soft tissue before placing it in the standard solution. Also, pouring a small amount of the conductivity standard into a clean beaker will prevent contamination of the standard. Do not pour the conductivity standard back into the reagent bottle.
