Covalence is a cooperative card-based game in which players have to work together to build a set number of organic molecules. One player operates as the knower and the others as the builders. The knower uses clue cards to direct the builders toward the correct molecule. Cooperation and an understanding of covalent compounds are key to succeeding in this compelling game. Covalence complies with NGSS standards and STEM principles. Gameplay takes around 30 minutes and accommodates 2–4 players (more if builders work as teams).
