The Go Direct™ Melt Station enables accurate measurement of melting temperatures up to 260 °C using the classic capillary-tube method, while real-time graphing provides clear visualization of phase transitions as they occur. A wide-angle viewing window, LED-lit heater block, and adjustable tilt base help students observe melting behavior, and internal cooling fans reduce wait time between runs. A built-in safety feature automatically powers down the heating block after 60 minutes of inactivity. Ideal for identifying unknown organic compounds, verifying the purity of aspirin, caffeine, or ibuprofen, or analyzing reaction products, the Go Direct Melt Station connects directly to computers, Chromebooks™, and mobile devices using the free Graphical Analysis™ 4 app, with support for both Bluetooth® wireless and USB wired operation.
