Budget priced spreading board designed for students and beginning entomologists. The basswood mounting surfaces are beveled to a 165º angle for proper wing positioning. Mounting surfaces are 5 cm wide and permanently bonded to a double layer of 12-mm composition board, which serves as the bottom of the pinning groove. Total length of board is 30 cm; width of pinning groove is 6 mm.
