In this lab experience, students will be able to demonstrate
destructive interference of sound waves. By directing the sound
wave from a tuning fork down two paths of differing length, the waves
will be out of phase. When one of the path’s length differs by one-half
of the wavelength, the waves will cancel each other out due to
destructive interference. This lab does not include VR.
