Students really get a feel of the land with these durable, hands-on models. Four land type models—folded mountains, fault mountains, volcanism and mountain glaciation—allow all students to learn how the Earth’s internal forces affect the surface shape and features. Students easily follow a grid system to locate surface and subsurface features on the models. White, plastic write-on/wipe-off models allow students to mark natural features, such as rivers, streams, valleys, rock types and cross sections as well as manmade features, including cities, railroads and mines. Each piece is 5" square. Ten sets of the four landform models are provided.
