Demonstrate both ray optics and selected wave phenomena in a lighted room with this one-of-a-kind laser optics demonstrator. Device consists of a base unit with a built-in He-Ne laser, deflection system and ray optics board plus an accessory case with 30 optical quality glass components mounted on carriers. Also includes three magnetic base supports and a mechanical stage for wave optic experiments. The enclosed horizontal He-Ne laser can be adjusted from a single beam up to five. Individual mirrors are moveable to allow direct demonstrations of image formation. Ray optics board carries a flush 360° table at its center. Each ray optics element is mounted in a chrome-plated steel carrier rod that fits into the table recess. For wave optic experiments, magnetic base supports fit onto the base to carry lenses and a polarizer as well as an air wedge and Fresnel’s bi-prism and mirror. An extensive operator’s manual describes 51 ray optic demonstrations and 27 interference and diffraction experiments. Unit operates on 110 V/60 Hz and weighs around 12 kg.
