Product Details

The octagonal shape of these magnetic stirring bars provides greater surface area and added turbulence compared to smooth cylindrical stirring bars. The molded-on pivot ring aids in reducing friction, chattering and the marring of plastic containers. Stirring bars consist of an Alnico-V magnet encapsulated in a PTFE coating, which provides excellent chemical resistance. Six sizes available. Six-piece assortment includes two each of 1" x 5/16", 1½" x 5/16" and 2" x 5/16" sizes.
