With this colorful goggle-dyeing kit, students can choose their favorite colors, school colors or multi-colors and turn a standard pair of chemical-splash goggles into a pair with unique design. Students will have fun and be much more likely to wear their goggles! This lab can help teach the chemistry of dyes and the dyeing process at the same time it stresses an important safety rule—wearing goggles is critical in laboratory situations! Five colored dyes—red, blue, purple, gold and black—are included in the kit. Teacher tips and a reproducible student handout are included.

Super Value Kit is complete with enough dye for 5 classes of 30 students working individually. Chemical-splash goggles and large beakers or pots are needed but not provided in the kit.
