Bio-Rad’s Mini-PROTEAN Tetra Vertical Electrophoresis Cell delivers professional-quality SDS-PAGE and native PAGE performance in a classroom-friendly format. The rugged polycarbonate construction and leak-free design make setup fast and dependable, running 1 to 4 mini gels in as little as 30 minutes. The system supports both precast and handcast gels for maximum flexibility, teaching key protein analysis and separation techniques such as SDS-PAGE, protein fingerprinting, purity analysis, and western blot preparation. All cells include buffer tank, electrode assembly, lid with power cables, and mini-cell buffer dam. Handcast configurations add casting stands, frames, glass plates, and combs for 10-well gels. Operates with the Bio-Rad PowerPac Basic or comparable power supply.
