The multi-functional NeuLog Photogate Logger Sensor lets you study various kinds of motion. With six modes of operation, it measures time, velocity or acceleration with one or two photogates and timing cards.

Sensors require connection to computer or display module for data display. There are multiple connection options available:

  • Direct connection to device via USB: USB Module (Catalog No. AP8095)
  • Wireless connection to device: Wifi Module (Catalog No. AP8156)*
  • Handheld display: View Display Module (Catalog No. AP8117) or Viewer Graphic Color Display Module (Catalog No. AP8161)*

*Note: Wireless and handheld connections require the Rechargeable Battery Module (Catalog No. AP8096) for power.

Specifications

Study various kinds of motion with the multi-functional NeuLog Photogate Logger Sensor. With six different modes of operation, it measures time, velocity or acceleration with one or two photogates and associated timing cards. Photogate Logger also pictorially shows the status of the voltage output as timing cards pass through the photogate. Each mode can be chosen by clicking a button on the software screen, and the measured values can be displayed in large numbers or in a table. Six different parameters can be used to customize your experiment:
• Velocity with a single gate
• Velocity with two gates
• Acceleration with a single gate
• Acceleration with two gates
• Velocity and momentum with two gates
• Change in time between two gates

Two sensors are required for the “two gates” options. Requires Datalogger USB Module (AP8095) or WiFi Module (AP8156), available separately.
