Product Details
A demineralizer (deionizer) purifies water by ion exchange or can remove organic impurities by selective adsorption. By selecting the proper cartridge, a science teacher can prepare the water needed for the laboratory. The Barnstead demineralizer is equipped with a conductivity meter to accurately indicate the quality of the water being produced. When the cartridge is exhausted, the meter moves into the red colored sector of the dial to alert you to change the cartridge. The demineralizer is connected to the water line using a provided 7-foot length of plastic tubing. Control valves are built into the base for inlet and outlet water. Unit can be used on a bench. Screws are provided for wall mounting. The demineralizer is shipped without a cartridge. Cartridges for this demineralizer are available separately.
