This ultrapure cartridge for the Barnstead Bantam demineralizer removes dissolved salts and produces extremely high-quality water. Ideal when ultrapure water is required.
Water output will vary depending on local water quality. Teachers should check the “grain” content (dissolved solids) of their water supply to select the appropriate cartridge type. The Standard Cartridge contains a two-bed ion exchange resin with a capacity of approximately 1,650 grains of dissolved salts, making it the preferred choice when both volume and value are important. Other compatible cartridges include Ultrapure and Organic Removal types.
