Product Details

The Tumble-Vibe® Rock Tumbler provides efficient, reliable rock finishing for geology and Earth science instruction. Its vibratory design processes up to 4 pounds of rocks at a time in a durable 8" polyethylene bowl with a secure screw-down lid. Powered by a 115V AC motor, the unit operates at 3400 RPM with no load and 2900 RPM under load for consistent, dependable performance. The single-speed operation and manual control make it easy for students to follow the included four-step finishing process, delivering smooth, polished results every time. For best final-polish outcomes, a second bowl is recommended to avoid residual grit contamination. Includes bowl with lid and motor base. Grain and polish not included.
