Thirty-six cloud formations are shown and classified by cloud type and elevation, allowing students to see the difference between low-, medium- and high-altitude cloud formations. A detailed yet concise explanation is provided under every photograph. Less familiar cloud formations like Contrail, Mammatus, Virga and Pileus are shown.
