The Vantage Pro2™ Wireless Weather Station is a research-grade system engineered to deliver precise, real-time weather data for professional observers, researchers, growers, and advanced Earth science programs. Sensors are NIST-traceable and measure temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction, barometric pressure, rainfall, heat index, dew point, highs and lows, and more. Data updates every 2.5 seconds and transmits up to 1,000 ft from the sensor suite to the WeatherLink Console. The rugged outdoor sensor housing is designed for long-term durability, and the anemometer may be mounted up to 40 ft away for optimal siting. The included WeatherLink Console features a vibrant HD touchscreen for viewing, analyzing, and customizing up to 21 weather parameters, storing historical data, setting alerts, and connecting to Wi-Fi for WeatherLink Cloud access. A standard radiation shield protects temperature sensors from solar heating and reflected heat sources to ensure accuracy. Sensor suite is solar powered with battery backup; console is AC powered with battery backup. Mounting hardware is included; mounting pole sold separately.
