It is difficult to determine the true quantity of electrostatic charge accumulated when rubbing plastic with silk or simply combing one’s hair. Now students can quantify how electric they truly are with this simple setup and easy-to-use sensors! The NeuLog Charge Logger Sensor allows for the measurement of electric charge by reading the voltage difference due to an induced charge on a metal can. Make use of the simple NeuLog interface, which may be accessed by any device that can open an internet web browser, to analyze how different materials accumulate electric charge. Students will enjoy exploring electrostatics with this unique activity! NeuLog sensors are required and available separately.
Super Value Laboratory Kit is complete for 24 students working in groups of 3. All materials are reusable.
