Made of Tyvek™, a tough, opaque material of spun-bonded polyolefin fibers, these coats have a cloth-like appearance and feel. Tyvek is durable enough to tolerate two or three washings, but remember, these are meant to be disposable garments. Will resist a very wide array of both organic and inorganic chemicals, including acids. Liquid penetration is almost zero. A great coat to have available for your personal use in a lab's prep area or healthcare environment where fuller body coverage is needed.. This throwaway garment provides considerably more protection than an apron offers in terms of upper body coverage.
