The Go Direct® UV-VIS Spectrophotometer simplifies the measurement of absorbance spectra for chemical and biochemical samples, offering Bluetooth® wireless or USB connectivity for seamless data collection. It supports full-spectrum scans, time-based kinetic studies, and Beer’s law experiments for common analytes such as aspirin, DNA, proteins, and NADH. Compatible with LabQuest® 2, LabQuest 3, Vernier Spectral Analysis®, and Logger Pro® 3, this spectrophotometer promotes student engagement through real-time visualization, analysis, and data modeling. The instrument uses both deuterium (UV) and incandescent (VIS) light sources, features a linear CCD detector, and accommodates standard 10 × 10 mm cuvettes (two UV-quartz cuvettes included). With fast scan times (~2 seconds), excellent photometric and wavelength accuracy, and stable performance across a wide spectral range, it is an ideal tool for advanced high school and college-level coursework. Includes AC power supply, USB cable, USB power adapter, and cuvettes.
