Simply place the device on a fingertip and press the button to view readings within seconds. The adjustable digital display allows brightness, orientation, and perfusion index viewing. Broad measurement ranges support both resting and active monitoring, including a heart rate range of 30–240 bpm, oxygen saturation range of 35–99%, and a perfusion index of 0–20%. Built-in alarms alert the user when oxygen saturation drops below 90% or when heart rate rises above 120 bpm or falls below 50 bpm. An automatic shutoff feature helps extend battery life.
