SECTION 4 — FIRST AID MEASURES
Immediately call a POISON CENTER or physician (P310). If inhaled: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing (P304+P340). If in eyes: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses if present and easy to do so. Continue rinsing (P305+P351+P338). If on skin: Wash with plenty of water (P302+P352). Call a POISON CENTER or physician if you feel unwell (P312). Remove immediately all contaminated clothing (P361). Wash contaminated clothing before reuse (P363). If swallowed: Rinse mouth. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or physician (P301+P310+P330).

SECTION 6 — ACCIDENTAL RELEASE MEASURES
Remove all ignition sources. Wipe up the spill, place in a sealed bag or container, and dispose. Ventilate area and wash spill site after material pickup is complete. See Sections 8 and 13 for further information.
SECTION 7 — HANDLING AND STORAGE
Flinn Suggested Chemical Storage Pattern: Organic #2. Store with alcohols, glycols, amines and amides.
Store in a Flinn Chem-Saf™ bag and then inside a Flinn Saf-Stor™ can.
Keep container tightly closed (P233). Use only in a hood or well-ventilated area (P271).

SECTION 10 — STABILITY AND REACTIVITY
Avoid heat and contact with strong oxidizers and acids. Avoid contact with hydrogen peroxide, iron and iron salts, aluminum, zinc, and, most particularly, nitric acid. Heating to decomposition emits toxic NOx fumes.
Shelf life: Poor. Sensitive to light and air. See Section 7 for further information.

Acute effects: Absorbed through skin and respiratory tract. Skin, eye, and respiratory tract irritation. Dizziness. Headache. Methemoglobinemia.
Chronic effects: Possible mutagen. Confirmed animal carcinogen.
Target organs: Blood, liver, nervous system.
