This spectrum tube power supply is engineered with student and teacher safety as a top priority. Specially molded, fully shielded sockets allow spectrum tubes to be securely positioned while protecting users from accidental electrical contact. A current-limiting transformer operating from a 110-V AC line provides the required voltage to run spectrum tubes, and the bottom socket is spring-loaded for easy tube insertion and removal.
