The Bio-Rad Sub-Cell GT UV-Transparent Gel Tray (1704416EDU) is a single reusable tray sized 15 × 10 cm, compatible with the company’s Sub-Cell GT and Wide Mini-Sub GT electrophoresis systems. It features two slots to accept fixed-height combs for agarose gel casting, allowing easy formation of wells for loading samples. The tray’s UV-transparent plastic construction permits direct visualization of gels under UV light (for ethidium-bromide or other nucleic-acid stains), facilitating post-run gel inspection without gel-transfer. The tray fits into the wide Mini-Sub GT cell base or standard Sub-Cell GT bases when used with the appropriate accessories.
