Achieve great visualization of DNA bands with SYBR Safe®. This DNA stain detects small amounts of DNA and fluoresces with a bright green color when excited with UV light. Like Ethidium Bromide, SYBR Safe binds specifically to the DNA double helix. However, SYBR Safe is less mutagenic than Ethidium Bromide, making it much safer for classroom use. Requires a midrange UV illuminator. 400 µL. 10,000X concentrate in DMSO.
