Product Details

The Bio-Rad T100 Thermal Cycler is a versatile, easy-to-use PCR instrument built for robust DNA amplification, genotyping, cloning, and other molecular-biology workflows. It supports standard 96 × 0.2 mL tubes, 0.2 mL PCR-tubes or strips, or a 96-well microplate. Its intuitive 5.7″ color touchscreen user interface lets users quickly program and run PCR protocols. A built-in thermal-gradient function enables optimization of annealing temperatures within a single run, helping speed up assay development. With a temperature range of 4–100 °C, maximum ramp rate around 4 °C/sec (average ~2.5 °C/sec), temperature accuracy of ±0.5 °C, and uniform well-to-well temperature variation ≤ ±0.5 °C within 30 sec of reaching target, the T100 delivers reproducible results. The small footprint fits most lab benches, and protocols can be saved onboard (hundreds) or backed up via USB. The unit ships complete with power cord and tube-support ring.
