Product Details

The Bio-Rad Tube Roller 120 V (SKU 1660711EDU) delivers flexible mixing for laboratory samples by supporting horizontal and vertical mixing angles as well as end-over-end rotation, tumbling, and rocking — catering to a variety of tube types and experimental needs. The unit ships with a carousel that accommodates up to 36 × 1.5/2.0 mL microcentrifuge tubes, and a combination carousel for larger sizes including 10 × 15/10 mL tubes and 16 × 5/7 mL tubes. It accepts a variety of tube volumes and sizes (microtubes, conical or standard tubes), making it useful for buffer mixing, incubation prep, sample homogenization, or gentle mixing steps. The compact design allows it to fit on most lab benches, and it's compatible with temperature-controlled workflows when used inside a suitable incubation environment. Although listed as discontinued on Bio-Rad’s EDU catalog page, the roller remains useful for teaching labs or older lab setups requiring gentle, reliable mixing.
