360Science™  blends the best of student-engaging digital content with easily adaptable hands-on labs to offer your students a uniquely comprehensive learning experience. 

In this lab experience, 
students are challenged to design and build an efficient calorimeter. Editable, differentiated instructions range from a time-sensitive prescriptive lab to full open inquiry, and robust online videos and content—including a virtual reality (VR) simulation—help students prepare for and better understand the labs they’re conducting.

360Science™: Build a Basic Generator: Engineering Design Challenge
Concepts: 
Magnetic properties of current-carrying wires, conservation of energy, electromagnets, magnetic field
Outcomes:Students find that the nail must be completely surrounded by the wire or a strong enough current cannot be produced. The faster the nail and magnets are spun, the brighter the LED bulb will glow.
Associated Phenomena: How can heat that is deep underground be used at the surface?

Our 1-year option provides access to all digital content for one year plus lab supplies for a single class of 30 students. Our 3-year option extends access to digital content to three years, with a 30% discount on refill supply kits years 2 and 3.
